Thanks Paul and Andrea for this cheesecake recipe. I haven’t made a cheesecake yet, but you make it look so easy!
Thanks again for your honesty about your diet! We all need to find what works best for our own bodies!!

Paul, just curious do you think it is still optimum to do a 100% raw vegan diet while trying to heal from serious health issues? Would love to see a show about the gaps that are in being 100% raw vegan diet long term. Thanks for all you both do and the honesty. You are both truly a blessing!!

The desert looks fabulous—but why is honey preferred over Agave. Doesn’t Agave have a lower glysemic index than honey

Hi Paul, I am so happy you are getting “REAL” with your life/food style. a 100% anything is more of an emotional imbalance than a healthy choice (experience speaking). Now I am going to watch your show every day because of your bravery to make a step in the right direction and be more real than most in the whole raw community.

yes for most health issues

Agave is processed.
It’s also high in fructose, which doesn’t have a high glycemic effect, but it can upset the liver and bring the body out of balance.

Love watching your show, the cooking sessions in particular, and look forward to trying this recipe. I am Diabetic, and wondering about the dates and honey in terms of sweetening.
I made a raw cake a couple of months ago that contained dates and agave, and my sugar levels did not recover for day.
Could you please advise as to whether or not you could suggest any alternatives.
Thanks

I would not recommend agave, but try dates and honey to see if they affect you the same. Sweetening with fruits is better than highly processed sweeteners.
