Hi there!
I have to say that even the making of the cake with my 4 year old daughter was pure enjoyment, and not to mention the outcome. I did actually make a roulade out of it and put some chocolate spreading, but the texture and the colour and taste of your pandan cake was there. Thank you again!

I heard from my mom you have to overturn it when you took the cake out from the oven until it cools completely.

Hey there, yes, a mini oven for a kitchen not too big. Haha. I guess this is what my parents can offer me at the moment. You bet I will have one HUGE oven when I have a house of my own. Haha. Thanks for dropping by anyway. (:

Hello, with my experience, it shouldn’t rise 4 times. Probably just double the volume of the final mix. By right, it should sink when it is cooling but not when it is browning though..
Here are what I think may be the problem + solution:
1) Inappropriate size of the baking tube pan. You need to use a 18-cm one if you are following my recipe. If smaller, the mixture will have “nowhere” to go but to rise too high.

2) Flour. I use cake flour for this recipe. Avoid self-raising flour, for example, as it will rise too much. (:
Hope it helps you. Let me know how it works out for you ya.
